I just want to make beautiful things even if nobody cares.

Hello world! I recently turned 24 & have given myself a goal: To find passion in new hobbies in my 24th year. So here we are. Starting a blog is one of the many things I hope to accomplish for myself this year & I'm very excited to see where it takes me. I'm not much of a writer, but hope to curate some beautiful things that make people happy. Enjoy!

I stumbled upon this quote months ago & not only did the graphic representation immediately catch my eye, but I felt an instantaneous connection to it with my own life. It is currently pinned up on my inspiration board & I look at it every day. I think it is a great message for those of us who consider ourselves to be creative, & a fitting choice for my first blog post. :)

Until today, I had no idea that there was more substance behind it. Then I learned it came from an interview with a man named Saul Bass, who was an American Graphic Designer & Academy Award winning filmmaker, best known for his design of motion picture title sequences, film posters, & corporate logos. Could there be a cooler career to have?
