This past Saturday (June 21) marked the official first day of summer. Bring on the longer days, margaritas, BBQ, music festivals, little white dresses, & sun-kissed people everywhere - loving life.  Here's what is filling up my mental mood board so far... I'm loving the World Cup right now. Everyone cheering for the same team...USA! Perfect timing with Independence Day coming up. A few new summer trends I adore: 50 Shades of Melon...These girls took the cake for me at this year's Met Ball. Yep, they're back. But in a more refined length than those Hollister ones we all wore religiously in the early 2000s.  What is it about this whimsical looking fruit that we all love?! Who knows, but I can't get enough. Kimonos are so easy breezy & feminine...& a nice alternative to scarves! This one is for Christina Yang! One of my all-time favorite fictional characters. "Dance It Out" ...

Hello Friends! Happy June!  Having my own Carrie Bradshaw-esque apartment in my 20's has been a long time aspiration of mine & last November I finally made that happen. So after living in my own apartment for 6 months now, I thought it was time I share some photos of how I styled it & where I've bought my decor on a budget! Happy April! Spring weather is in full swing & I can definitely feel a change in the air. Atlanta weather may be notorious for a little drama...but I am so inspired by the breathtaking Fall & Spring seasons we get to experience. Specifically the bright white dogwood trees, tulips in every color of the rainbow, chinese cherry blossoms, & yes...even the yellow pollen takeover we have each year. I've gotten out my sundresses & self-tanner, cleaned my apartment from top to bottom for some classic spring cleaning, & happy hours with pals on patios are all over my to-do list! Here's what else my mind is coveting this month: I need these glasses from Urban Outfitters. Some current trends I'm loving...
